chocolate waffle iron cookies

one of the easiest cookies to make I think . and what’s great is both kids and adult love them .

ingredients:

1 cup of all-purpose flour (or your flour choice)

3/4 cup sugar

4 tablespoons of cocoa powder

1/2 cup of butter( 1 stick at room temperature  )

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

direction

1.in a bowl add the butter and sugar .then mix either by hand or you can use a mixer. once the butter and sugar are well combined. add the eggs mix again . then i just add the rest of the ingredients flour, sugar, cocoa powder and mix tell combined and don’t forget the vanilla the dough is very thick.

2 preheat the waffle maker. once it’s preheated. it’s easiest to use a ice cream scoop to scoop up the  batter then drop it on the waffle iron . once the light on the waffle iron says it’s done you will have to leave it in for about 1 or 2  minute more . it’s like making waffles if it look cooked then it’s done .if not leave it in little longer they do harden as they coolDSC00046

3. this is the fun part you can add icing and sprinkles, powdered sugar and /or if you make different sizes cookies you can make a royal icing and make a Christmas tree
