day 1 chocolate chip cookies

 

 

ingredients

 

2 1/2 cups of flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup ( 2 sticks) butter , softened

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)

2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

2 cups of chocolate chips

1 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans optional

 

directions

1.preheat over to 375f  stir flour with baking soda. set aside

2. beat the butter with sugar and brown sugar  at medium speed until creamy.

3. add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time , mixing on low speed until incorporated.

4. put the flour mixture into the wet mixture and blend tell well combined

5. hand stir in the chocolate chips and nuts(optional)

drop by tablespoon on to a cookies sheet and bake 9- 11 minutes or until golden brown

notes you can use a small ice cream scoop / cookie scoop.

to make this gluten free just use gluten free flour cup for cup.
