ti’s the season to be jolly fa la la la la. this is the best time of year I love to be in the kitchen baking. it makes me happy but baking all depends in my toddler napping these days she is very clingy and I can’t go into another room without her yelling for me .these chocolate chip cookies I used some different ingredients than I usually use I am trying really hard to become vegetarian again and at least make my deserts vegan slowly but surely we will get there.
1 c flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 c ( 1 stick ) butter soft
6 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 flax-seed egg or 1 egg if you prefer
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 c chocolate chips chunks (might have to use more if your chocolate chips are normal size)
bake 375 8-10 minutes
make your flax-seed egg and set aside
mix your sugar, butter together , then add you vanilla, and flax egg
then add your flour, baking soda mix . you are going to want to hand mix the chocolate chips in so they don’t break up in you mixer , then on a parchment lines baking sheet drop the dough by the spoon full.
the great thing about these cookies are you don’t have to be concerned about letting your kids lick the spoon since there are no eggs in it.
